Pinterest

I'm getting a little obsessed with Pinterest...it's just such a wonderful source of inspiration for creating lovely spaces. I'm even starting to use it to help me get dressed in the morning! If you haven't already, check out my boards - http://www.pinterest.com/domesticitynz/boards/
There are boards for every room of the house so if you see something that you like and want help recreating it in your own home - let me know!

Some pictures to inspire lovely living rooms...

Home show photos

Thanks to everyone who came along to see our entry at the home show. For those who couldn't make it, here are some photos of the space we created. The brief was 'stop and smell the roses' and we had to use muted colours which inspire relaxation.

Trade Aid

Trade Aid has upped it's game big time. I have always thought Trade Aid was a haven of good homewares buys, their affordable rugs and amazing selection of cane baskets...
Their new summer catalogue is their best one yet! These are my particular favourites...

Don't forget to come along to the home show this weekend and meet me - I'd love to meet you! Me and Olivia from Lucille finished putting together our entry in the interior design competition this evening - after weeks of hard work. Here's a sneak preview:

Wallpapered.com

I think it is fair to say I'm a fan of fancy wallpapers, and they don't get much fancier than this: antique wall maps. I particularly love the Paris and London antique wall maps available on wallpapered.com - and they ship to New Zealand!

Salvation Army

Look at this adorable cushion I bought from the Salvation Army today! It is repurposed from an old wool blanket and I particularly love the little salvation army badge sew on it. It cost $8!!!!!

The Sugar Club

Note to self: Must visit the very chic new restaurant The Sugar Club next time I'm in Auckland.
