I'm off to Bali tomorrow, so no updates a for a couple of weeks - sorry! Before I go, I found these great pics on homelife.com.au of designer David Dalton's loft apartment. I am completely in awe of the dining room and it's framed view of the city below.

Marie Olsson Nylander's home
I came across these pictures of Swedish interior designer Marie Olsson Nylander's home in Arild, Sweden. I love how the floors, walls and ceilings are white so the furniture almost looks as if it's floating. There are so many interesting and unique things in this house, it's hard to know what to look at first. I particularly love the staircase.

Spring time
It's hard to believe, but spring isn't far away and I've started thinking about how to make the most of my outdoor space at home. I can't wait for the shops to start bringing out this seasons outdoor furniture. For my house I envisage a beautiful long table with benches either side, the perfect place for summer brunch with family.

Umbra Wall Frame
I came across these great wall frames on fourfontaine.com. I think they would work well as an interesting feature above a bed or elsewhere in a bedroom.

Anthropologie has started selling one of a kind art work. I particularly like the work by Rebecca Rebouche.

Wedding
I've been a little preoccupied this week thinking about weddings instead of course work! I've started to get some idea of what I want my big day to look like and have started to put a mood board together. It's early days, but I as far as I'm concerned, it's never too early to start planning!

Trade Me
Trade Me is haven of treasures if you have time to look. My personal favourite category to look under is “Antiques > Retro Furniture”. It proved invaluable last night when I was trying to put together an eclectic bedroom scheme for Module 12 of my course work. A few of the unique things I found were:

Bo-Concept lift up bed
I came across this lift up bed by Bo-Concept today. The entire mattress lifts up so that items can be stored under it. For a small guest bedroom, this is the ideal place for suitcases, spare pillows, blankets and reading material. Also, if you have clutter to hide, your guests will never know. Wish I could get one for my spare bedroom.
