Today on Onceit, there were Wally Pocket's for sale. I'd never heard of these, but now I've seen examples of them being used in interiors I'm intrigued. They are made from recycled plastic milk bottles and have an "internal moisture control and a self-watering reservoir which protects your walls from getting wet". They look great as living art work, and it got me thinking about spaces that could use some greenery at my house.

Xanthi bar and restaurant
I came across Xanthi bar and restaurant when I was in Sydney back in January. I stood outside for ages looking at the interior design and even tried to take a picture, but my camera didn't do it justice. Today Xanthi was covered in The Design Files by Lee Tram Lam and so I have a chance to borrow their photos for my blog. Xanthi was designed by Luchetti Krelle and if you're in Sydney Westfield, go to the top floor and check it out - it's worth it.

Zara Home
I've been on the Zara Home website checking out their catalogue. There are so many beautiful things that I am thinking about ordering a tea chest to ship all the stuff home I know I will buy when I'm over there in June!
Look at these lovely pictures - their use of candy-floss pink and aqua is so playful. I love the aqua piping on the white chairs in the last picture. Pictures property of Zara Home.

Kathryn Ireland
I spent the weekend lying on a deck chair in the sunshine reading interior designer/textile designer Kathryn Ireland's book 'Summers in France'. I first heard of Kathryn Ireland on the tv show Million Dollar Decorators (it's like a soap opera for interior designers - I love it). Here are some pictures of her lovely interiors from her website.

Hôtel La Belle Juliette
I have been consulting the Remodelista city guides (http://remodelista.com/cityguides?country=France®ion=Paris) for my upcoming trip to France in June. I don't want to miss out on any chic must-see places while I'm there - even if it means dragging my poor husband all over Paris and the French Riviera. The hotel I have chosen for Paris is a bit of a splurge, but it's mentioned on so many interior design blogs that it has to be good. We are staying at the Hôtel La Belle Juliette. Just look at the pictures of this lovely place. I can't wait!
