I have decided to start a new feature on my blog which combines two of my favourite things - fashion and interior design.  As you know a large aspect of creating a successful decor is being able to read a person's style from their appearance and personality. Loving Brooklyn Bagels new look. Is my fav cafe in Wellington (the food is soooo good) and now it has a decor to match - my only critisism is the floor, looks a liitle too unfinished.

Plates on the wall

What do you reckon? Is it cool to put plates on the wall? An old fashioned idea but I'm coming around, I think if it is done right - it can look great.

Branch christmas decorations

I've been helping my mum look at decorations for her staff Christmas party. I like the idea of using branches as table center pieces and came across these images as inspiration. They are such a cool way of decorating with a modern twist.

Kiwi batch

Sorry it has been a while...I have been away over the weekend at castle point. I stayed at a lovely typically kiwi batch...which I couldn't help but fantasise about decorating. This is what it looked like...

I would paint the panelling, put new cushions on the bench seat, change the couches...basically everything. And I dream of turning it into one of these...
